Hudson Ferry Capital Announces Merger of Insight Merchandising with VIRA Manufacturing
New York - December 31, 2014 – Hudson Ferry Capital (“HFC”) is pleased to announce that it has provided financing to facilitate the merger of its portfolio company, Insight Merchandising, LLC (“Insight”) with VIRA Manufacturing, Inc. (“VIRA”) to form VIRA Insight, LLC (“VIRA Insight” or the “Company”). VIRA Insight designs and manufactures an array of merchandising displays and visual elements that use wood, metal, acrylic, wire and plastic for the retail industry. The merger brings together two complementary industry leaders in the store fixtures space, with strategically located manufacturing and distribution facilities in Grapevine, TX, Perth Amboy, NJ and Los Angeles, CA.
“By combining the two companies and their respective strengths, we have further enhanced our capabilities to provide custom fixtures and displays manufactured from the broadest selection of materials,” said Jeff Jones, CEO of VIRA Insight. “HFC was instrumental in identifying an ideal merger partner and supporting the combination of Insight and VIRA by providing financing and expert advice.”
HFC Partner, Timothy Ross, said, "There are significant synergies in bringing these two companies together. We see opportunities to consolidate sourcing, leverage a combined sales organization, cross- sell to the existing customer bases, offer a more diversified product portfolio, and provide better geographic coverage of the U.S. retail market. We are looking forward to working with VIRA Insight’s management team to capitalize on these opportunities.”
