Hudson Ferry Capital Announces Two Hires
New York - January 14, 2013 – Hudson Ferry Capital, a private equity firm active in investing in established lower middle market companies, announced two new hires. Robert Athas joins Hudson Ferry Capital as an Associate and Jacob Bennett joins as an Analyst.
Robert Athas joins Hudson Ferry Capital with prior experience in corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions. Previously, Robert was a Vice President at KPMG Corporate Finance in New York City. At KPMG, Robert completed mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, management buyouts and recapitalizations, and valuations. In prior roles, Robert worked at Cross Keys Capital, Bank of New York and Bear Stearns. Robert will focus on sourcing and analyzing new investment opportunities and working with existing portfolio companies. Robert holds an MBA from the F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business at Babson College and a BS in Finance from the University of Rhode Island.
Jacob Bennett joins Hudson Ferry Capital with a background in business development. Previously, Jacob was an analyst at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP in New York City. At Skadden, Jacob assisted in the analysis of mergers and acquisitions and capital markets transactions, and compiled market and industry research to support new business efforts. Jacob holds a BA in Economics from Columbia University.
